Save the Movie!

Now, here's where you come in.

Many fans, wanting Nickelodeon to release Hey Arnold! 2: The Jungle Movie, have began efforts to save the film.

The internet has played a huge role in this demonstration. On Care2, a petition has been set up, asking Nick to produce the movie. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/Save-Hey-Arnold-Movie-TJM/

In addition, there is an official group on Facebook: Hey Arnold! Save The Jungle Movie!! 100,000 People!! . Members of the group plan and participate in various activities to attract viewers to the show as well as draw the attention of Nickelodeon.

These events include:

Operation Ruthless- Fans of the show are encouraged to create a two minute video somehow showing Nick their support for the Jungle Movie in a creative way. More details are in the video:

Trending Days- Since TeenNick has included the 90's Are All That block to their nightly schedule, fans are using social media sites, mostly Twitter, to trend the hashtags #heyarnold, #90sareallthat, #Nickelodeon, #savethejunglemovie etc. They also post @Nickelodeon and @Paramount Pictures tweets along with these hashtags. The goal is to have Hey Arnold or the Jungle Movie trend first worldwide. Trending days are usually Tuesdays and Saturdays (most trending is done while the show is airing between 12-2 am), but members try to trend any day Hey Arnold! has a slot in the 90s Are All That line-up.

Call Nick Day- Members have planned a day where they will all call Nickelodeon, requesting the movie be created along with reasons why.

Hey Arnold! Memes- Members are using memes as a way to recruit others to the cause. Various different meme are being adapted to include Hey Arnold! and shared throughout the internet. A special tumblr page has been created for these memes as well:  http://hey-arnold-meme-city.tumblr.com/

If you are interested in helping, please sign the petition and join the group on Facebook.
